Modernism Week | Palm Springs | February 15-25
One of the most vibrant home tours in the country, especially if you love mid-century modern design. There are shows, events, sales and bus tours that provide access to the best of Palm Springs architecture. This year’s showcase home is Moroccan Modern in style.
Austin Modern Home Tour | Austin | February 24
Hosted by the Modern Architecture and Design Society, the event gives you access to a selection of the best homes in Austin.
Modern Phoenix Week Home Tours | Phoenix | March 25
You’ll have a day to look inside Phoenix’s best mid-century modern homes during a week of art and design events (March 16-25). The popular week is now on its 14th edition for 2018.
CF Art + Architecture Weekend | Phoenix | April 13-15
In its second year, the proceeds of the Architecture Weekend help fund the Phoenix Art Museum. You could step inside 16 of Phoenix’s most breathtaking homes last year and more are slated for 2018.

Restore Oregon | Portland | May
The foundation featured mid-century modern architect William Fletcher for 2017. This year, it’s in search of homes by John Storrs. No date has been set.

MA Design is Human Architectural Tour | Atlanta | June
No exact date has been set, but this show features the best residential modern and contemporary design architecture around Atlanta and is scheduled for June.
Common Boston | Boston | June
No dates are set, but it’s usually the first weekend of June. You can access some of Boston’s most architecturally significant spaces for free. It’s one of the most popular home tours in the country, giving visitors access to both urban and select private spaces.
Telluride Art + Architecture Weekend | Telluride, CO | July 21-22
Featuring the Telluride Arts District, you’ll get an inside look at new and historical homes, art studios and more. Tastings by local chefs and wine pairings will await you at many of the stops.
Denver Modernism Week | Denver | August 26-27
Vintage and mid-century modern homes and trailers will be available for viewing.
Doors Open Denver | Denver | September 22-23
Free and self-guided access to Denver’s best architectural spaces like hotels, libraries, theaters and more.
Houston Modern Home Tour | Houston | September
Dates have not been set, but the event in September features some of the most beautiful modern and contemporary homes in the country. 2018 will be it’s eighth annual event, and at least eight homes will be available for a self-guided tour. Sponsored by the Modern Architecture and Design Society.
Open House Chicago | Chicago | October 13-14
Go behind the scenes to see the best of Chicago’s commercial and residential spaces. Sponsored by the Chicago Architecture Foundation, the event is free and gives you access to more than 200 buildings in Chicago.
