Modern minimalist homes and contemporary structures look awesome at times, but the design is being so overdone that the singular shades of white and grey are starting to look rather pale at times. That is exactly where this modern home – dubbed Amplitude 33m²? – improvises and adds some eye-catching designs that offer a wonderful yet contrasting feel to the space. By using a more Nordic looking center table along with plenty of print all around on fabric, the home exudes a certain buoyant charm and beauty. The intense blues, brilliant oranges and lovely yellow along with the intricate design make it a minimalist home that is bright and bubbly. Just shows that you can go way beyond the dull grey if you are imaginative enough. – via

The Balmoral is a private residence with a beautifully structured interior that is very elegantly furnished with most of the interior decorations using a black and white tone in all its rooms, creating a relaxing comfortable atmosphere. The same thing happens in the bedroom – extending to a green terrace, which looks simple in appearance yet comfortable in feeling.

With the sitting area blending the two shades, a trendy black bath tub along with a cubicle shower in the bathroom and a very trendy kitchen highlighted with a lot of white, the whole Balmoral Residence was meant to please.

Talking about the kitchen it has some of the most modern equipments, a huge white work table in the centre and a black dining table and chairs giving the right contrast to the pure whiteness of the kitchen. The architectural symmetry is balanced by the abstract setting of the interior and the whole interior is an embodiment of both comfort and elegance. The whole thing is by VanessaHadaway. A castle is not exactly my dream home and if you only add white and black, then it’s worse. But there is something about the White Castle and I’m not sure what. Believe me I’ve been looking at these pictures for over an hour now and it’s somehow addictive. Designed by architect Steve Blatz for a private art dealer – Olivier Renaud-Clément – the 1,500-square-foot immaculate city loft was intended to showcase his collection of art & Italian design from the 60s and 70s.

The clean sharp shapes, the mixture between a highly modern architecture and the furniture, the no-doors living space plus the monochromatic scheme really appeal to me. Do you like this white palazzo? – T Style Magazine

The String Shelf System is a flexible system package that can be assembled to the same configuration as in the photographs below or to your own alternative configuration using the same components. Alternatively all shelves and units can be repositioned elsewhere in the system by simply lifting and moving. This piece is quite expensive for a string a plexiglass shelving systems ( £788 ), but it looks clean and simple, and it can be moved easily. – Via

This contemporary bookcase from Dar en Art that looks like a snowflake is something really interesting, especially if you want a bookcase that has an original design. In this picture the white design with clean lines, near that green plant, and that white & blue chair looks awesome, I hope that in reality this bookcase will look the same. This piece has a diameter of 140cm and is available in white or black, and provides a creative method for the organization of your items. Pricing is available upon request at Dar en Art. – Via
Later edit : The designer of this bookcase ( Younes ) is actually a reader of this blog, and left a comment and asked me to link to his website, and I’m glad to do this for him. Thanks again Younes from Extru-D !
