The designs are characterized by highly pronounced curves. Their structure is made of steel so that adds strength and durability and are also covered with a mesh of polyurethane. When we hear the words “rocking chair” we immediately think at a type of chair with two curved bands of wood (also known as rockers) attached to the bottom of the legs, but Paco Capdell brings us a new vision. The Cuna Rocking Chair uses two wooden squares as the frame and either metal bars or dyneema rope that allow the seat to swing back and forth. According to Contemporist the Cuna Rocking Chair was launched at the Salone in Milan, and will be available in the US at Eurotrend Furniture.
