This awesome futuristic kitchen concept design was designed by Sebastien Poupeau. At a first glance this kitchen might look like an Apple product, clean design, sleek lines, and of course eye catching, but this beautiful design is a futuristic kitchen that offers “a food cutting area, a digital screen enabling the cooker to pilot the equipment, listen to music or access to the web to find recipes for instance — this ‘multi-screen’ is extended by a dining surface.” On both sides stand two units; one with induction hobs and an oven for cooking, preparing; the other with a sink and its drying rack fitted into and a dishwasher with two separated racks. The project also envelops an upper level for the hood and a heating area. A light made of optical fibre under the surface holds the glasses over the guests. – Via – Hometone

The “Washup” is a conceptual design integrating a washing machine with toilette-flush. This new concept is a sustainable and space saving water consumption device that reuses the water that cleans the clothes in the washer to flush the toilet. The “Washup” is certainly a great solution for the problem of location of washing machines in small bathrooms, and I’m sure that this concept would be something that every small place owner will want. And the second part of this a smart idea is that this “toilet + washing machine” conserves lots of water that would normally just be flushed away, something good for our planet. – Via – Core77 , Dvice, Gizmodo

Whirlpool has presented its futuristic version of a “green” kitchen. It seems that more and more people and companies become aware about the green movement and start using green home appliances to save on energy and water. This kitchen concept is designed to redistribute 60% of the water and heat generated from the various kitchen appliances to fuel other appliances or functions. For example this concept is supposed to use the heat from the refrigerator’s compressor to provide hot water. The green kitchen would help users to reduce at least 24% of the total energy bill by reducing energy use and recycling water and energy needs. To bad we can’t seemore details from the pictures. – Via – Yahoo News & Pocket-Lint

Matrjosjka [Matroshka] means grandmother in Russian and is used in popular language to describe the wooden dools that are placed inside each other. As reflected by the hidden space within the dolls, the [Matroshka] has the potential to revolutionise storage and maximise the quality of living, especially for those in confined dwellings. As seens with the dolls the possibilities are popping up with [Matroshka]. Matroshka must be the compact living lovers wet dream. It can become as small as 4 square meters and houses a book self, double bed, sofa, dinner table, four stools, desk, wardrobe and a bunch of storage. The target group for this product are people living in overcrowded lodgings; particularly students, big city dwellers or commuters. It can also be used in more conventional dwellings to maximise space in the guest room, children’s room or study area. It is also a smart sollution to allow more flexibility in pre-furnished apartments.

Water Ball Ripples is a really cool & modern bathroom faucet designed by Smith Newnam. The design looks awesome, and I’m pretty sure that you’ll fall in love with this faucet after you’ll see the pictures. To control the Ripple faucet, you maneuver an electronically-secured metal ball on top of the faucet’s frosted glass surface. Moving the ball in or out from the center controls water pressure. Moving it around controls temperature. A flash heating system ensures that water in the water channel isn’t hot until it’s ready to be mixed, which prevents scolding. The surface glows red or blue to denote how hot or cold it is. Now just image how much fun you can get by playing with this new technology. The bad thing is that the Water Ball Ripple is just a concept right now, but I’m sure that this design has a lot of potential. – Via – Yankodesign
