If you thought that painting cabinets is an overwhelming job, then deciding to paint them black tends to make the task a lot more challenging. However, for some people black is a favorite color and probably just about the only shade that won’t frighten others. So take a moment to check out Emily’s kitchen. Prior to the change, Emily didn’t bother about her laminate backsplash or the orange discolor of the cabinets, but after getting her kitchen painted black we can definitely say that the outcome is amazing. – via

You’ve seen a lot of color combinations here on Freshome, some of them vivid and bold, others more classical. Today we would like to present a mix: Vetronica Kitchen from Meson’s brings together items that are black, white and yellow. The overall design is elegant, bold and classy in the same time. Designed by Micro Zanini, this interior has a few furniture objects worth emphasizing: the black and white table set, the black pendant lighting item, the zig-zag lamp in the corner and last but not least the yellow cupboard doors. All of these products increase this kitchen’s design value and our appreciation as well.

I have to admit that I love unique things, and things that have something unusual. So what do you say about styling your kitchen interior with LEGO pieces ? Two Paris-based designers ( Simon Pillard and Philippe Rosetti ) created the Munchausen LEGO Kitchen that centres around an IKEA kitchen island, which (over a week) they proceeded to cover with more than 20,000 LEGO pieces …quite impressive. The two have recently contributed a collection of T-shirts, cushions, wallpaper and accessories for the new French label Commune de Paris, 1871. Munchhausen was one of three initial contributors for Commune de Paris, 187. – Via – Cubeme
