Ukrainian designers Irina Dzhemesyuk and Vitaly Yurov sent us these photos, along with some information on this contemporary home on the island of Sardinia, Italy. As you enter this refuge, you are greeted by panoramic windows blurring the indoor-outdoor boundaries.

The high ceiling and generously sized windows create an overwhelming feeling of space. The array of textures is more or less similar in every interior of the house, providing a sense of visual harmony. With its brightly colored chairs, the dining table is a focal point of the design.

Furniture and lighting from Minotti, B&B Italia, Luceplan and Vibia are combined to create a fashionable interior design scheme. A wall of hexagonal brass petals perfectly complements the simple shapes of the modern furnishings. Marble accents add a touch of elegance and charm to the interior, while natural wood makes the space warm and cozy.

Outside, the wide, uncluttered pool area comes with different lighting scenarios; this allows the inhabitants to create lighting moods for entertainment as the evening unfolds. What do you think of this contemporary Italian home? [Photos and information provided by Irina Dzhemesyuk and Vitaly Yurov]
