Michael or Micle Mihai-Cristian is a 23 years guy that is the founder and owner of Freshome. In the beginning Freshome was just a place where I wanted to get ideas and be more clear on how my future house or apartment will look like, but with time more and more people discovered the website, and I’ve become someway addicted to this website especially when a lot of those people told me that they love the website. Living in Eastern Europe ( Bucharest – Romania ), Alex has been a journalist/blogger and a business man for more than three years now. When not writing about travel places, gadgets or cars, he’s traveling Europe. Whether it be by subway, tram or bus, Alex is keen to visit every little street, shop or bar he can find.

Specialized in writing about those places of natural beauty or significance, recently he found a great interest in covering amazing architectural designs, furniture or style in general. He’s been with us on Freshome for more than 6 months now, and loves it all the way.

Lavinia is a freelance writer currently living and studying in Timisoara, Romania. Some people say she is crazy, unpredictable, fluctuating and too much of a dreamer; however her hobbies din not change in time- she loves photography, appreciates the “waste” of creativity in advertising and in the past years developed a crush on design. She met Michael by mistake, while trying to access a different tab on Freshome:), but she considers the encounter a fortunate event nonetheless.

Pearl is a Canadian scientist with a long-standing interest in design. Pearl is also a jewelry artisan, instructor and author of her own jewelry blog, The Beading Gem’s Journal. She enjoys writing about innovative design and appreciates the creative process. She keeps a keen look-out for great designs as well as unusual and novel products to share with readers. Pearl joined Freshome in the summer of 2008. Pearl is posting just from time to time when she has some free time.

Based in Los Angeles, Tony Chavira is the Programming Coordinator for RACAIA Architects in Downtown Los Angeles, California comments on urban planning and design for FourStory.org, writes an noir comedy comic online at TunaCarpaccioPI.com and generally has a love for amazing art and design. Although trained in statistics and research methodology, Tony enjoys commenting on the details of striking interior and industrial design and is happy to be a part of the Freshome team.
