Decube Furniture Project consists of an armchair connected with its footrest by a rope. An object that is simple and linear, where the link between two elements leads to interaction. Designer Luca Binaglia envisions projects that share emotions “arising from a word heard many years before, from a song, a film or a glance captured from the surrounding world“. A simple gesture, in effect, reveals the true nature of this particular design, turning it from a simple square pouf into a cozy seat with footrest.

The project’s structure was developed using wood panels. Its upholstery consists of recycled fabric obtained from sustainable manufacturing. With an array of color combinations available, Decube can be easily adapted to various interior design schemes. Be sure to also check the Quartz armchair, which combines playful pieces of natural foam, that can be removed with ease and used as individual seating units.
