Completed by Architect 11 in Sweden, Passion House M1 is a compact living space, designed as an addition to an existing house. One of the main characteristics of this project is versatility. Passion House M1 can easily be transformed into a guesthouse or a shed, adapting to your needs. The small-sized dwelling features a sauna. The aim: to disconnect you from the routine and offer an alternative lifestyle, a more intimate, relaxing and easily adaptable lifestyle, that is. The prefab modular homes, such as this one, are built in one piece, with concrete foundation attached. They come fully equipped and they represent a smart investment for those who want to experience a different type of living, energy efficient and more connected to the outdoors.
Architect 11’s modular homes are easy to set up: it takes one up to four days to have it in your courtyard/ garden/ wherever you want it. When it comes to sustainability, the dwellings designed by the Swedish firm are as eco-friendly as possible: the internal walls are made of cross-laminated-timber panels while the structural frame is made of glulam. “It is designed to fulfill the energy consuption requirements in nordic countries, even snow load requirements up to 3 kN. Houses are equipped with high standard ventilation systems, full automation and management systems, they are designed to utilize a solar heating during spring and autumn, have shelter from sun during summer months, thus not requiring a cooling system.”
