Today we have a special furniture treat for those of you with a passion for reading and for…cats. The Cat Library was designed by Corentin Dombrecht and is a practical asset to have around for both humans and felines. The design is modular, so more than one shelving combination is possible. Moreover, the product comes with a few fun features especially added for the playful nature of the small pets. We have to say we find the attached stair system quite ingenious, as it allows the cats to walk or run up and down the furniture piece without any damage being done to the books or magazines stored within. The Cat Library is easy to integrate in a large variety of modern and even traditional interiors. Have a look at the video below for a glimpse of how this bookcase can be “animated”.

Here’s something for our friends with cats. The Cat Library is a practical asset to have around for both humans and felines.
I love my cats, but they love my books. No thanks, unless I want all my corners chewed.
Another great bookcases, maybe i should make a small cat house on the top bookcase
Lose the litterbox! I think that integrating the litterbox into your cat-library design is a disgusting concept. Who would want to come and page through your most-loved books?
I would like to introduce you to our newly published children’s book Nikki’s Hurricane Adventure. Based on a true story, we lost our cat approximately 85 miles from home and she returned 4 months later on Christmas Day. My husband was diagnosed with cancer the following summer so we decided to write a children’s book and donate 1/2 of the proceeds to cancer research. The illustrator is also a cancer survivor, please check out our site at http://www.nikkishurricaneadventure.com/index.html
good idea……nice design..
It’s not a litterbox up top! It’s a “bed” — a place for kitty to curl up.
