Abramson Teiger Architects designed this modern home above West Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. A white concrete facade gives the home its majestic feeling. Right next to the main entrance, a room conceived for children receives soft light through the translucent windows. Situated on the hills, the home features 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a playroom, two family rooms and an elegant living room. Every room displays views of the west Los Angeles basin, while the infinity edge pool creates a dreamy panorama of LA. Looking to absorb as much beauty as possible, the architects designed the home with a large patio that surrounds the pool, but left enough room for a rectangular lawn to accentuate the glamorous living spaces. A separate pool house was constructed near the pool – this offers a 360 degree panoramic view of the surroundings. Water is an important element for this home: the pool and the baths offer serenity and use the calming effect of water to relax and unwind: “the master bath is designed as a luxurious spa, overlooking the jet liner views. The bathroom is tranquil, serene and bathed in soft light.
