Stefan Boublil from The Apartment has created a space for wonders: 3 small New York apartments have come together under his blessed design wand. The boldness with which he creates the inspiring interior design has many faces: from strong splashes of colour to straight modern lines. This residential home thrones over Central Park offering the most magnificent view.

Every room looks like it was seamlessly sewn to the next one. The pure white walls are the perfect canvas for Stefan`s imagination. The kitchen walls and dining area ceiling are wrapped in waxed concrete as if to enhance the apartment`s uniqueness. The floors in all rooms are a very light colour – bleached pine – so it feels like the decorations and the apartment itself floats over New York`s Central Park.

The built-in wraparound sofa gathers the 4 residents of the apartment – a couple and their children – around the solid walnut library that harbours a secret door. This is where the master bedroom and kids room are, protected from any sound that might disturb the calmness of the environment. The surround sound and clean modern lines of the surprising library is thought out to be an ode to the 80s but the perfect view drags us right into 2010 and its magnificent forms.

Kids are spoiled with a gorgeous shade of blue and the retractable bed keeps everything hidden away until it`s time for the sweet dreams inspired by this beautiful home. The bathroom unveils a work of art tattooed on the ceiling – a perfect excuse to escape to another world.

Stefan enlightens us :”I might describe the final result as having a monastery + cowboy ranch + 80s vibe… “
