Designing a room for your teenage boy isn’t as difficult as it seems. The key is knowing what his hobbies are and what he likes to do with his time. Involve your teen in the design process so you can come up with a cool design that you both can agree on. Since we had a post on Freshome with 25 room designs for teenage girls, it is only natural that we should have a similar collection for boys as well. We have to admit it was very hard finding these pictures, as not many interior designers focus on creating boys’ room arrangements. Do you have any idea why? Even though it was not easy, we hope you will enjoy strolling through the photos. The color palette includes mostly black, blue and brown, but we found some pretty fresh boys’ interiors that have more vivid colors as well. Most of the rooms have a distinctive “teenage boy” element such as a punching bag, a miniature or a plane, a gaming device and so on. We particularly enjoy the themed rooms, such as the military interior. Sometimes all you really need is a little inspiration and once you’ve found it, your teenage boy room project will quickly come together. We hope that this post gave you the inspiration you were looking for.

Single beds are a parent’s most effective method of encouraging abstinence.
I like the design of the house, and It’s very good for me, I pray Jesus Christ to help me and I can buy one. Thank you and be happy!!!
as a teenage girl, I have to say that these bedrooms are much more appealing to me than the ones you posted intended for teenage girls. Girl’s bedrooms were way to clustered and the themes were more appealing for nine year old’s.
Never seen a boy’s room that tidy I must admit.
Finding a few designed too parental in flavour.
I also agree with bjorks comment. Not all girls like that girly dreamy look. I would have preferred most of these rooms over the girls room when growing up (in fact I has one more like these) – 41 year old woman
Yep, that is right – single bed is very very cruel
i liked the boys bedrooms alot better than the girls, where can you buy the beds?
beautiful………………..rooms
Deffinitelly like each of these more than girls’ bedrooms…
If you have a long limbed teenager,a double bed is the only way to ensure they a good night’s sleep. Great rooms and colour selections too thanks.

Where can I find the cabinet in layout 281 thoughtful room-Star Wars theme. Happy Kids Bed Room also has a cabinet I’m interested in. My son’s room does not have a closet and I need a cabinet similar to the ones shown in your designs. Any suggestions?
