An Explosion of Indoor Color: Handmade Pixel Rugs

Handmade has become very popular lately and the industry is slowly catching up when it comes to interior design. From Portuguese company Piodao Group comes Tufted, a brand name which is similar to quality indoor items. The firm also manufactures products for other famous names, such as Moroso, Moooi and Rolf Benz. The Pixel Rug will be exhibited at Milan’s Design Week, but before that here is a preview. Aside from its cheerful color selection, the carpet is not leveled and its “pixels” are thrown into bold relief. We imagine this makes stepping barefoot on it  quite enjoyable. The rug can be placed in a room with a simple color palette in order to freshen it up.-via Design Milk
