Nature And Architecture Combined: The Stone House in Portugal

If you are one to go for residences that are constructed with sustainable materials, what better way to do that than actually use nature in your architecture plans? This is the case with this interesting looking house in the images below. Located in Nas montanhas de Fafe, Portugal, its resistance is mainly ensured by two giant boulders which are also walls for the unusual residence. We really loved the overall idea and we think at this house as a perfect getaway from the stress and the commotion of modern living. Weather it is just a summer residence or a permanent place to stay, who wouldn’t want to sleep in the middle of nature and yet still have all the latest technology and living conditions?- via
