You were probably thinking about USA as “the place to be” in matters of big and luxurious homes. However, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia recently revealed some interesting information regarding the country with the world’s largest homes. Apparently Australia took the lead, with an average home size of 214.6 square meters (2,310 sq ft). The cause of the fact that an average house surface in the US dropped to 201.5 square meter (2,169 sq ft) is said to be the recession. Since we are here, you should probably know that Denmark has the lead in Europe (137 square meter), followed by Greece and The Netherlands. Another thing you probably did not see coming, is the country situated on the last place. According to the same study, The Great Britain has the smallest homes in Europe, with a medium surface of 76 square meter. Via – Yahoo Finance
