After the famous and touching “Free Hugs” Campaign, here is another similar project that was “created” by Keetra Dean Dixon for Social Facilitation and Mood Elevation. Even though this may seem a little spooky at first, once you get used to the idea these hugging walls are not really that bad. Maybe this way some people could really get over their hugging phobias. The unusual wall may also turn out to be a really cool implemented idea for an outdoor decor or a creative improvisation for a party outside. Keetra Dean Dixon has a few more interesting projects on her site. One of these designs is “The pleading blanket” which comes with printed “imploring” words.

creepy. i wouldn’t go anywhere near it. entirely too many weirdos get off on stuff like that.
I think it’s a good idea and it would be a nice thing to just walk up and get a hug when you need it, then go on your way.
You’d feel pretty stupid if you were standing there for ages and no-one came along for a hug, handshake or grope.
I would hug it if a life size picture of Jessica Alba was on there…
Ok that is just plain weired there is no way that I would ever go near something like that, sorry who ever came up with this, is just crazy and needs help.
