When I’m looking at this amazing villa I’m wondering how much money per day someone who owns a villa like this makes. Designed by Touzet Studio the Otko Villa is located on a private island in Miami Beach, Florida, overlooking Biscayne Bay, and is being offered for sale through David Solomon. So if you have some money, you should make youself a really nice gift, the home’s price tag is “available upon request”. The waterfront home features a combined total of 20,000 square feet, spread over three buildings. A 16,000 sq ft two-story main house with 6 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, a 2000 sq ft cabana/guest house with 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms, and a 2000 sq ft staff/maid’s quarters with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with service kitchen. Now let’s admire this wonderful villa …there are a lot of pictures to enjoy ! – Via – Stylecrave

I’ve noticed that DIY websites are more and more popular over the internet, and it seems that more and more people seem to join this trend. Today here is a design by Philippe Tyberghien, the designer behind Cercle et Carre that might be a source of inspiration for all the DIY people that are reading Freshome. This lamp is made of a flexible plastic cone covered with the knitting and extended by the wiring of a length of 4.5 m also hand knitted. The lighting (energy saving) is live at the base of the cone and indirectly through the mesh. The unusual length of the cable allows the clashes and a wide variety of positions. Hanging on the wall, like a coiled snake, running along the ground, etc.

This is the 3rd time when something designed by Antonio Lupi appears on Freshome. This time I’ve decided to present the Sartoriale Bathtub, a new design that is really an attention grabbing object. The line of the bathtub simply extends further on one side than expected, for a pleasing asymmetrical twist. Made in flawless Cristalplant, the tub also comes with a black exterior finish.

Designers Daria Burlinska and Wojtek Traczyk have developed this creative lighting sculpture from the concept of a bulbous (no pun intended) cumulus cloud. Made from hand-formed glass bulbs, the Cumulus Maximus emits a subtle blue accent from LED lights strewn through the sculpture. Though built from steel and glass, the design of the Cumulus Maximus has a weightlessness about it, and would have a fantastic addition to a hip dining room or for designers interested in creating an airy, delicate motif for a space. Certainly it draws the eye, but I feel that it would serve an interior space with round, white furniture and large, flat curvilinear accents really well. – visit their site
