Named after its first Italian owner and having been designed by the famous Romanian architect Haralamb Georgescu, the Pasinetti House in Beverly Hills is steeped in rich tradition and great history. And that’s exactly why the arduous task of restoring this neglected real estate jewel was assigned to expert restoration architect Aaron Torrence. The resulting structure is a flawless blend of old designing principles and modern flair, that adds glass for better ventilation and enhances the wooden interiors. Looking fabulous on a hill side with its simple box–like structure, it uses the huge space inside to make it a complete delight once again. Looks like one of the best “facelift” jobs in a while, isn’t it? – via
