The Most Beautiful Stairs or a Dizzying Experience?

This steel sculpture is a wonderful peace of art designed by Olafur Eliasson. This beautiful merging of art and architecture is a 9 meter-high walk-double spiral of steel in the entrance of the KPMG ( a global accounting firm ) office building in Munich, Germany. The stair is called Umschreibung (Rewriting), and was completed in 2004. – Photos by : Christian Beirle

Crazy stuff. We just do ‘normal’ non-dizzying stairs (http://www.arden.net.au/Projects/Commercialprojects.aspx). I wish someone would ask us to build something like that though….

    美しくも頭もクラクラしそうな階段…

    曲線の曲がり具合がちょうどいい感じに仕上がっていますが、実用的な階段としては機能していない模様。注目スポットになるのは間違いないですね。
