Love Mattress

Designed by Mehdi Mojtabvi, the love mattress is actually made up of single slats, each covered in with a smooth fabric. The slats allow you to dip your arms to better hug your partner in bed. Look at this very intimate lover mattresses, fragmented bands design lets you easily mattresses will be “separated” from the pitch arm in the gap. This mattress was designed for those people who want to hold their partner in their arms all night long without feeling the presure in the arms. This will effectively prevent the arm pressure and you can also pitch feet in the slot and easily find the most comfortable sleeping position.

I love the idea of this… I’ve just been wondering (for a few days, it’s kind of sad) just how to go about putting bedding on this. I imagine it’d be quite the procedure to do every “slat”.. but how do you use a sheet with it? There’s got to be -something-.

-OR- you could just put a regular sheet on the mattress, and only tuck in the spaces you’ll be using? As to andy’s comment… roflspooge.

I would think sleeping with your arm between a couple of pieces of wood might cause some discomfort. I’d probably dislocate my shoulder in the middle of the night.

@Jon: What do you mean? I looked closely at the pictures, I don’t think the “slats” are made out of wood but some type of cushion-y material.

I salute the intention of the Love Mattress, but I have some real concerns about the support provided by this mattress. I mean, while a normal healthy young adult may not suffer from any recurring problems, after a few months or years sleeping on this, they could develop some problems due to the separation of the supportive foam bands.

Great for Morning Wood, although i dont think it would be usefull for “making love” i think your knees would fall through the slats throwing your accuracy and rithem out of wack, they should call this the hug mattress…
