This sofa is an elemont from the organic polar collection of furniture, from british designers Luke Pearson and Tom Lloyd. Their goal was to create simple, timeless shapes that appear like fragments of icebergs fising up from the floor. The sofa has a wood frame, and can be reconfigured to create six different seating arrangements. This piece of furniture is manufactured by Tacchini - Via - roadsidescholar

A few days ago I’ve presented you the Spell Shelf by Da-Eun Song a shelf that spells out shelf. Today I’ve found another interesting home product that has a similar characteristic. Design house Seletti brings new meaning to the phrase “HANG time” with these individual letters that double as a wall hook. This set comes with four oversized and durable stainless steel letter-shaped hooks that spell “H-A-N-G”. Each letter measures 4.75″ W x 8″ High. Comes complete with mounting hardware for easy installation. I’ve found two similar products in a short period of time. Could this be a new trend, that I’ve just spotted, productst that spells their name ? - Price : $68.00

Japanese electronics giant Panasonic just released a heated rug that have a special radiant mat that sits beneath the surface of the carpet to keep things nice and warm and when I say warm I mean upto 46°C and if that is way too hot for you you can always adjust it. Be careful if you have a dog or a cat, because your pet will love this carpet. Some time ago I’ve also presented a similar product from Panasonic named No-Constraints Carpet you should also check it.- Via - Technabob

Take Out is a brilliant idea of storage furniture, which resembles a traditional chest of drawers with the exception that the drawers have been replaced by portable briefcases. This makes it possible for each briefcase to be taken to the next room or even on a longer trip. Take Out is ideal for the storage of, for example, toys or tools – things that are used in more than one place. The piece of furniture consists of an outer shell made of MDF board, aluminum shelves, steel legs and plastic briefcases by Plasticase. The basic idea can be modified into various shapes and sizes. For the Sauma exhibition, Klaus Aalto has made a series of three different sized sets of drawers. Although the prototypes are intended for mass production, they could also be turned into a series of unique pieces of furniture with briefcases made of different materials.
