The Island is a play of geometric shapes. Square and circle form a single unit through the sum of their elements. Toghther the elements form a bed. Separately you get 4 lounge sears and 1 table. The design is very innovative, but I’m wondering how comfortable is the bed formed from 5 pieces. – Designed by Gerd Cockhuyt from Moon Design

Orikami Sofa is a piece of very unique furniture. I think that this sofa design is the strangest, and shapeless sofa presented on this blog until now. Looking from here I see that the right place on this sofa is extremely comfortable and as we come to the left the sofa becomes less and less comfortable. Speaking about design, we can see that this sofa has chromed legs, and a beautiful white leather. – Price : $8,160 from here.

Grandpiano is new the wonderful bed designed from Mario Bellini for Flou. The bed is characterized from the sinuosa shape that encircles the mattress. Grandpiano habitually incorporates the carried out function from the bedside tables and the benches approached to the bed. In conclusion this bed is a great piece of furniture, because it is not just a bed, it is a bed, with two little tables each side, and a bench that surround the whole mattress. – Via – Elmanco

The Light Drop by the Brazilian designer Rafael Morgan is the second project of this designer that I present on this blog, after last month I’ve presented you Hope Table. The interesting part of this innovative lighting design is : “Drop Light” is a lamp out of steel and silicone functioning by LED whose light intensity is controlled while turning the tap. Unfortunately these lamps are not to sell: they are only concepts suggested by the Brazilian designer Rafael Morgan, but the ideas suggested by him are very interesting.
