Studio Sebastiaan Dillmann created Eden wooden lamp, a reaction to large-scale waste. Eden is fully manufactured by hand and is built from nature waste found in the Dutch woods. Unprocessed branches have been cut into slices and hollowed to form the base material of the lamp. Each slice forms a unique puzzle piece that is eventually added to the complex sphere. The result is a strong and timeless lamp designed to challenge the test of time. Eden stands for the earthly paradise where everything should exist in eternal harmony.

In our modern economy everything revolves around consumption. Manufacturers are continuously introducing new designs on the market that make existing products outdated. This leads to an enormous amount of waste and inflation. These ideas forged the design concept for Eden wooden lamp. [Photos and information provided via e-mail by Studio Sebastiaan Dillmann]
