A true dream Mexican home, is set in Pachuca, México, Navona House falls into the category of luxury residences designed by JI Studio. A sequence of straight lines defines the structure, adding a sense of geometrical coherence. Massive yet unitary, the house is composed of several interconnected volumes. The social area, with the kitchen, living and dinning room are all located at the ground floor. The lobby represents the centrepiece of the house and it facilitates the access to all rooms. “Each space both upstairs and downstairs has been designed as a unit, which is reflected in the various volumes that make up the house, and in simple language able to interconnect with each other, creating a single element.”
The house’s façade is covered in marble, conferring a very precious appearance. Wooden details complete and complement in the same time the overall look. The interior is warm and inspiring, exhaling elegance and a comforting feeling of serenity. The bedrooms are located at the top floor. Dressing room and bathrooms as well. There’s also a terrace in the back (projected as a bedroom extension) where inhabitants can relax, read a book or simply enjoy the site.
