Located in the Italian alpine resort of Cortina d’Ampezzo, this welcoming apartment design defined by wood inspires winter throughout. Envisioned by Gianpaolo Zandegiacomo, Casa Cojana provides an original rustic living environment, perfect for a holiday retreat. Each of its interiors is unique due to various decorating details and  a perfect mountain landscape can be spotted through the small windows.

The walls, the floors, the ceilings and even some of the furniture pay tribute to… wood. In the living area there is a large dining table for eight which looks like a perfect spot for having a warm cup of tea with friends or family. The bedrooms may be small, but they sure look cozy. What we like most about this unusual Italian apartment design is the use of unexpected details- have a look at the pendant lamp above the dining table or the other lighting elements spread throughout the place.
