Designer Matthew Robinson came up with an interesting idea for his final project at the Leeds College of Art in England. Fusion Tables are his way of combining aesthetics and functionality into a furniture duo that ranks high in terms of originality. The use of two colors gives life to the design and one of the legs of each table appears to be “dripping off”, creating an interesting visual effect .

According to the designer, the solid wood tables were manufactured by hand in American Walnut and Maple. Their almost cartoon-like appearance brings a sense of fun into an everyday piece of furniture. We appreciate the originality behind this design (discovered on Beautiful Life), as well as its practicability. Easy to integrate in a large variety of modern interiors, the Fusion Tables seem to inspire an artistic vibe, meant to enhance the feel of a room. Find them as interesting as we do?
