According to a survey of British Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment, complaints from residents of new-build developments have created the need for a chart that shows growing concern for small space residential developments. British homes – floor area and room sizes – are the smallest in all Europe, so you can understand why people wonder where to fit in the couch or how to maximise the cooking space in the kitchen. According to BBC, “British new-builds are less than half the size of those in the United States and Australia.” The team at Curbed gave people a heads up concerning the small-scaled homes around the world. The survey questioned residents of homes built between 2003 and 2006, in London or within an hour’s travel time of the British capital. Do you have space for all the necessary things in your home?
