What you can observe in the pictures below is a makeover of a  Victorian house located in the South of Dublin. The team behind this plan is Ailtireacht, whose headquarters is also in Dublin. The owners of the house wanted some more living space so the brief consisted in adding such a construction, in order to increase the surface of the place. The result was a contemporary add-on which can not really be called “Victorian”, but rather a complementary modern extension. The material used to isolate the building was zinc foil and it is also the metal that gives the addition its final look. We hope this sort of unexpected interior surface enlargement will inspire you in case you need some more space in your home or apartment.
