See Nina Levett’s dress? It is printed with the same design as the wallpaper behind her. If they vaguely look biological to you, then you are right! These are her sperm wallpaper designs. Nina Levett is an Austrian based designer whose creative approach is both original and humorous.

Her series of sperm wallpaper began because “The sperm represents the beginning of the life of my children. The best thing I have accomplished in my life so far!“. One of her designs show the sperm moving away from the egg which she says is an analogy of how difficult is it to find the right man for her! Another shows the sperm and egg during fertilisation. Her designs are available not just as wallpaper but can be printed on fabric, paper or even mounted as a painting on MDF boards.

Technology in these days changes everything, even faster that we can imagine. For example a new amazing technology has the potential to turn just about any surface, including your walls, into a speaker. Johns Hopkins materials scientist Michaely Yu and his team have made a rubbery plastic-based material that could help place piezoelectric devices in previously impractical areas, including your walls. Personally I can’t even imagine how this technology can work, but for those of you who want to know more about this new technology you can take a look at the patent application of this new technology. - Via 1, 2

When you look for the first time at this wallpaper you don’t see something special, just an usual wallpaper, but this i is actually a heat heat-sensitive wallpaper on which the flowers on it will be blooming when the radiator is on.
