Tom Spina Designs created this custom Star Wars inspired desk for the studio office of Mark Hall, from the Grammy award-winning group Casting Crowns. Underneath the 1/2″ thick glass table top, a carved Han Solo emerges from below. Metal and fiberglass construction with a heavy glass top create an elegant and extremely unique piece of furniture. I’m not sure how many people will actually want a desk table that might be a little bit scarry, but finnaly is an unique piece, not with to much style but with attitudine. - Via - Geeklogie

The striking geometry of this side table is a variation on the theme of contrast and balance: a cantilevered sheet of glass slices through an angled, solid wood base, with the whole composition delicately poised and stabilized by a minimal stainless steel leg. At a first glance this table is hard to understand if you look at it from an angle like this, but this is the part that makes this table so cool and stylish. Finnaly the price of this table …is …quite expensive $2490.00, and it can be purchased from here.

Last week we presented an interesting table designed by Marta Antoszkiewicz that can save a lot of space. Today here is another table from the saving space category. This new interesting idea it’s a seating arrangement that can utterly functional when in use and when put aside, it can add décor to any place that it rests on. The medium high chairs are made from dense foam while featuring a metal rail detail to give it a neat look on the top, in addition to a laminated top and spun metal support. This this seating arrangement is practical, and also looks awesome when is not in use, I like to call it “The Apple” table, because it really looks like a red, tasty apple. - Via - Thedesignblog

Saving of space and low visual impact is the proposal of Marta Antoszkiewicz with Kitchenette, a Seth of dining room table and chairs with an urban and minimalista design. The four chairs adjust to the cleared edges of the table, forming a compact block when it is not necessary his use, offering this way a sensation of greater space in the stay. This effect is successful in minimizing the visual impact, therefore making a space feel larger. Intended for urban living, this table set features removable cushions for easy cleaning, hot & cold pads for serving and hand pulls for easy access. - Via - Hogartotal
