When you live in a very small place the space is premium, and a piece of multifunctional furniture is pure gold. Designer Akemi Tanaka came up with a wonderful modular piece of home furniture that is perfect for small space apartments. This piece of furniture is called the “Futaba” coffee table, and as you can see from the pictures attached bellow this coffee table can turn into a love seat when needed. At a first glance this piece of furniture appears to be a bookshelf, but the Nettlestone Library Ensemble is actually a library table with two tone-on-tone cushioned barrel chairs on casters and hidden compartments. Designed by Daniel Milchtein Peltsverger for Mabel Furniture, this set of stackable chairs made of molded wood or plastic are an interesting solution for a small place. You can keep the chairs stacked when you are alone at home to have more space, and unstack then when you have visitors. The ergonomic shape and portability make it ideal for hotel and office lobbies. Designed by Stefano Bigi and produced by La Cividina the Globos Chair is a brilliant solution for small places, especially if you don’t have space in your apartment for 12 chairs laying around your house all the time. So to solve this problem designer Stefano Bigi designed a collection of furniture that cleverly hid extra seating inside its body. On its own, the bench and chair can only seat 4 people. However, within their bulbous designs are 8 pouffes that can be used as small ottomans increasing seating capacity to 12. Now that everything is ready you have enough chairs for everyone in case you’re going to throw a party in your apartment.

CASULO is a complete set of room furniture designed by Marcel Krings & Sebastian Mühlhäuser, which can be set up in less than ten minutes and later disassembled and repacked like a standard Euro pallet of 80 cm by 120 cm. No tools are needed in the process. In the first picture this set of room furniture it might look like a simple and small 31″x47″ (that’s 80 cm x 120 cm) box, but inside this box, there’s an armoire, a desk, a height-adjustable stool, two more stools, a six-shelf bookcase, and a bed with a mattress.
