The Air Vent Secret Compartment is supposed to be a hidden place where you can hide your stuff. You can hide stuff under your mattress or behind various other things that a thief would want to steal, but that’s pretty unorganized. What if you could hide your valuables inside of something that’s so common, that it’s completely out of sight? With approximately one trillion air vents in the U.S. alone, the chances of a thief discovering your air vent safe are extremely minimal ( of course if he doesn’t already ready Freshome and saw this post ). To install it, just cut out a section of drywall, and put in the compartment fastening it with screws. It opens with a mechanism that is hidden in the grill and no one will see your stuff thanks to a black divider. Is not to safe, but is very well hidden you have to admit. Price : $260

I’m pretty sure that when you were a little kid you always wanted a secret passage in your home. Just pull a favourite book from your library shelf and watch a cabinet section recess to reveal a hidden passageway, or twist a candlestick and your fireplace rotates, granting access to a hidden room how cool is that ? Creative Home Engineering can make most of those wishes come true. Pretty much anything you’ve seen in the movies can be yours, according to the site, and anything that your mind can come up with. Now in these pictures below you can see a few of their works, I love the staircase idea.

Objet B’art’s secret’air is a chair that turns into a table and vice-versa. It’s a piece of architecture, a hidden workstation, where you can place your laptop on the inside or hang your unpaid bills between wide rubber bands so you don´t forget to pay them. With the secret’air you can create your own office space in your home. I’m also sure that this can be a great little office for a kid room, and not just for them. I like the rubber bands idea, because if I had an office like this I’ll use them to keep track of my goals, and have them always in a place where I can see them.
