The Roses Rug is a simply stunning rug designed by Nani Marquina. This rug is handmade and hand loomed, each individual petal is woven into the base to create a remarkably durable and beautiful piece for any room. I’m pretty sure that this rug can create a beautiful romantic atmosphere if you add a sweet Barry White, a few candles, and a bottle of wine. Nani Marquina is a wonderful female industrial designer who launched her line in 1986, specializing in textiles for the home, and subsequently receiving many accolades and awards. These rugs made by Arzu Firuz looks like they were made from wood, but is just an appearance. These rugs are actually made from large sheets of imitation wood vinyl. The line of five rugs includes names like, ‘babylon’ and ‘rosace’. Studio Laurens van Wieringen created this beautiful landscape carpet. The Carpet is constructed from many little ‘foam-bars’ in different colours and heights. Together these ‘foam-bars’ show an image of a landscape in color and a relief in height.
