Designed by Gary Street - The Cayman is a multifunctional piece of furniture concept that has practically re-invented modern day living, ingeniously folding out to create an amazing eight pieces of furniture. It can be a coffee table/footstool, a double bed for your spare room, a guest sofa, a low level sofa, a double chaise lounge, a luxury day bed/play mat for the kids, and a low level snack/games table. Its adaptability truly knows no bounds, and it looks very very good. The idea for this product came, when the designer wanted a quality multifunctional guest bed that could save on space, versatile and complimentary to his existing decor.

If you are not new here at Freshome you know that we love multifunctional furniture, and in general every piece of furniture that has something tricky, something special. For today we have another new interesting piece of furniture , a 3 in 1 beautiful piece desinged by Roel Verhagen Kaptein. This seating concept to transform into a chair, a three person sofa, or a chaise lounger …is more like a transformers robot, not a piece of furniture, it can be transformed and used for different purposes. We should also take in consideration that this is a great solution for a limited living space. - Via - Yankodesign

Tavi Table designed by Adele Rotella is a great example of how the furniture evolves. Now as you already know people like to have multifunctional stuff, and a great example of that are the cellphones. Now in the furniture industry to be competitive you must product something new and at least interesting. The Tavi Table combines the functional attributes of a coffee table and magazine rack. The table is supported by standard legs on one side, and modeled velum on the other. The velum leg is where you stow away your magazines which can be sorted thru from the transparent glass top. - Via - Yankodesign
