Your living room is one of the most important rooms in the entire house, and most of the people spend a lot of time in their living room. A living room is not just a relaxing space that welcomes guests and visitors, it also serves as the focal point and acts as a showcase for the entire house. In simple terms, the living room is the focal point of a home, and a place that will bring comfort and joy to all of its inhabitants. Now we all know that when we have a guest the living room is usually the first room that your guests see, and I think that we should take care of how this place look by creating something that will reflect our own style. There are many decorating styles that you can choose from, and the most popular are traditional, country, contemporary, and transitional. Personally I prefer the contemporary style, and for those of you who look for a little inspiration on contemporary living room design here are six pictures that might inspire you.

The ASP Spacearium fishtank is a new idea that wants to “reinvent your indoor space,” as opposed to just being an accessory with some fish in it off in a corner somewhere. As you can see from the pictures the ASP Spacearium fishtank looks more like a plasma TV. The huge acrylic tanks are shaped like gently curving ellipses, and range in size from 5 to 8 feet across, which is easily large enough to turn them into room dividers. Finally if you have a beautiful collection of colorful fishes this fish tank could create a beautiful view in your room, for you and also for the fishes. Price : $8400 - Via - Zamzing

The VU.VU.VU. computer desk designed by Ballabio - Elli is a writing and computer desk in shaped multi-layer plywood, with CD/CDRom/DVD space and extractable drawer for PC keyboard. When this desk was created the designer thought that we live in a modern world and a PC is almost in every house, and for that reason under the desk you have a suspended wood structure that was especially made to store the pc unit. The materials used for this desk are wenge and oak wood, with a chromed aluminum base structure. Finnaly the overall design looks good, but I’m wondering why is this computer desk called VU.VU.VU ? - Via - Emmemobili

The Nappak is an interesting solution designed for those people who power nap, and to be used in the office. Now I don’t know how many people would allow their employees to take a power nap in the office, but personally I would allow something like this because a power nap can quickly revitalize the subject from drowsiness. This Nappak sleep bag can be stored in a slim and round trolley, it features can be expanded in a a few minutes, quickly open and stow. This sleep bag occupies a very minimal space, without having any hassle of shifting the furniture. The interior part of the bed has been coloured white, in order to reflect a relaxing affect while you go for a deep sleep or a light nap. Finnaly I can say that it is an absolutely mobile bed, that you can just take it anywhere. - Via - Bornrich
