The internet and computing has changed our lives so much so that many of us now spend hours and hours on our computers. We often forget what it is like outside. So why not get a window that looks just like Microsoft Windows, the operating system that most of us use? John Nouanesing, the talented French designer has come up with obviously named Fenestra 3.1 which is no ordinary window. Open or shut, it shows the familiar landscape view of Windows - blue skies and green fields. For his Windows theme update, Nouanesing has naturally promised Fenestra XP.

You can’t buy any of his delightfully quirky designs including this design just yet . But by the end of the year, he hopes to have a company up and running with a catalogue of some of his creations. - Via
