Hector Serrano designed this clever clothes hanger lamp which has two functions. It lights up your room or even closet as well as keeps your shirt unwrinkled, perhaps the one you plan to wear the next day. When you wake up some dull morning, the lamp will not only softly illuminate the room but will help you locate your clothing at the same time - just zoom in on the light! The lamp shade is highly customizable for you get to pick any shirt for the purpose, changing it every day if you wish. For best effect, light colored shirts are recommended. Having two or more of the lamps will create an interesting sconce effect.

The lamp frame is made from acrylic and comes with an 11 watt fluorescent lamp and wall hook. It is manufactured by Droog (The Netherlands) known for their innovative products. Allmodern.com sells the hanger lamps for $295 each.

Clear lamps are great because they can blend so easily with any color scheme. But won’t it be even better if they could also help you solve organizational problems in your home at the same time? Like misplaced magazines and books. If you’ve been spending too much time hunting for that book you were reading, then you might like the clear reading lamp by Bureaudebank of The Netherlands. There is also a frosted version. It is a combination reading lamp and book or magazine stand made from perspex and stainless steel. The lamp is divided into two halves with a space for the books. The second featured lamp design is by Nicolo Taliani of Italy. His lamp solves the perennial problem of long, dangling lamp electrical cords. I like to play Ping Pong, and I remember that a few years ago I’ve spent a lot of time playing Ping Pong every day. Today someone thought to gather a lot of table tennis balls, and create a product. Designer Diaz Kleefstra took 315 standard 40 mm celluloid table tennis balls and created a lamp, that as been named after the famous dutch table tennis player Bettine Vriesekoop.
