The Light Drop

The Light Drop by the Brazilian designer Rafael Morgan is the second project of this designer that I present on this blog, after last month I’ve presented you Hope Table. The interesting part of this innovative lighting design is : “Drop Light” is a lamp out of steel and silicone functioning by LED whose light intensity is controlled while turning the tap. Unfortunately these lamps are not to sell: they are only concepts suggested by the Brazilian designer Rafael Morgan, but the ideas suggested by him are very interesting.

Magneto Shelves by Henry Julier

Some time ago you could see on Freshome an innovative idea Magnetic Clothes Hangers, a topic that had a huge success, and readers loved this idea. Today we have something similar named Magneto Shelves. These shelves can be adhered to any magnetic surface. Each shelf contains between one and three neodymium magnets, which are very powerful and allow for a strong connection to your fridge or whiteboard. – Found on Design Sponge – Designed by Henry Julier

Lamp in a Bulb

lamp in a bulbPersonally I’m not a big fan of this “Lamp in a Bulb“, but I recognize that is an innovative and interesting lamp design .Designers called this lamp The Blow Table Lamp. The lamp was created by Studio Italia Design and is a Pio and Tito Toso design. Now maybe you are wondering how you can adjust the position of the lamp. The direction of the lamp can be controlled with a matching magnet that is on the outised of the glass globe. Just place the magnet anywhere on the globe/bulb and the lamp will move accordingly.Quite interesting concept, but I prefer something more traditional, and not a lamp with $1,362.60. – Via americaninventorspot
