The Hanging Stair is a nice looking design by Canadian architects Blencoe Levine Associates that solves the common problem with stair treads when renovating. So I guess that’s pretty convenient when you run into roadblocks in the middle of your house project. Although this is a good use of space, and it’s a modern look, I would question the strength of it over time. The pictures are from architectural photographer Ioana Marinescu’s portfolio. - Via - Treehugger

Hanging Bookself is an innovative storage design for your books from unal&boler studio. Something that I didn’t saw before. This system can’t replace a whole bookcase, but two of three systems of storage like this could be fun to hang somewhere in your home. - Via - Design Milk
