The angular, linear aspect of the Karbon is sure to be as appreciated for its futuristic good looks as for its fantastic functionality. Clever engineering means that the faucet can hold any pose. It’s great for filling large pots, pulling down into the sink to prepare food, and tucking away out of the way when it’s not in use. What’s more, it’s designed to be used hands-free. With a modern, textured user-friendly surface, this faucet is finished in gleaming polished chrome. Water Ball Ripples is a really cool & modern bathroom faucet designed by Smith Newnam. The design looks awesome, and I’m pretty sure that you’ll fall in love with this faucet after you’ll see the pictures. To control the Ripple faucet, you maneuver an electronically-secured metal ball on top of the faucet’s frosted glass surface. Moving the ball in or out from the center controls water pressure. Moving it around controls temperature. A flash heating system ensures that water in the water channel isn’t hot until it’s ready to be mixed, which prevents scolding. The surface glows red or blue to denote how hot or cold it is. Now just image how much fun you can get by playing with this new technology. The bad thing is that the Water Ball Ripple is just a concept right now, but I’m sure that this design has a lot of potential. - Via - Yankodesign

The Smart Faucet is designed to automatically control the temperature and water level in the bathtub. An interesting bath product that won the red dot award: design concept 2007. Smart Faucet is able to automatically control the temperature and water level in the bathtub. How you do that ? Preety simple with so much technology in this faucet. Just set the water temperature on the control panel which is located above the faucet, after that you have to put your hand under the ultrasonic sensor, to show the desired level of the water, and finally, set the level on the control panel and the faucet memorises the settings.

After setting the desired water level, the faucet will begin the water flow, which activates the ultrasonic sensor to automatically control the level of water in the bathtub. Once the pre-set level of water is reached, the faucet will automatically shut off the water supply, thereby avoiding any possibility of an overflow. A “buzzing sound” will indicate to the user that the bathtub is ready.
