Tom Spina Designs created this custom Star Wars inspired desk for the studio office of Mark Hall, from the Grammy award-winning group Casting Crowns. Underneath the 1/2″ thick glass table top, a carved Han Solo emerges from below. Metal and fiberglass construction with a heavy glass top create an elegant and extremely unique piece of furniture. I’m not sure how many people will actually want a desk table that might be a little bit scarry, but finnaly is an unique piece, not with to much style but with attitudine. – Via – Geeklogie

After we presented the Glass Shelves by Tonelli and the Ghostly Feet Tables here is another cool piece of glass furniture. The transparent computer desk is designed by Italian Design and composed of three elements: a glass desk with pull-out shelf, cover-cables in light grey lacquered metal, a glass module with two drawers in black lacquered wood and a glass module with one shelf. The design look clean, simple and beautiful.

Tobias Berneth designed the Thinner desk, a desk that is just 6 mm. Thinner creates the illusion of a thin, weightless surface. Thinner is a table characterized by the elegance of its slender dimensions. To gain the required stability the table was constructed like the wing of an aeroplane. Simply sleek and stunning. The only thing that Tobias Berneth don’t tell us is the material of this table, because at 6mm should be something really strong. – Via – Yankodesign
