For those who want to make their room an individual piece of art, here are a few examples made by 21 international artists from the fields of graphic design, urban art and illustration. These amazing rooms are from the Fox Hotel ( the former Park Hotel ), that is located in the center of Copenhagen, and I can say that these artists turned this hotel into the world’s most exciting and creative lifestyle hotel. The hotel has 61 rooms that are all completely different so choosing between a room with Art Deco inspired furnishings or a room where the walls have patterns taken straight out of a 1960s psychedelic film or a room where you spend the night in the company of Japanese Manga inspired cartoon characters may well pose a dilemma to some guests. From fantastic street art and Japanese Manga to simply spaced out fantasies, you will find flowers, fairytales, friendly monsters, dreaming creatures, secrets vaults and more… Now let’s see some amazing rooms.

The origins of Hotel Fox lie in a massive marketing event laid on by Volkswagen to promote its latest small car, the Fox, which, when it comes on the British market this summer, should retail at around £6,500. Rooms start at €120, which is cheap for Europe’s second most expensive city. And there’s a perverse attraction in a hotel that breaks all the rules of functional beauty that are central to Danish design.

Over the time you’ve seen a lot of bookshelves on Freshome, but what I’ve found today is really impressive. I was browsing Flickr and I found this beautiful example of organizing books by color and the smart guy that managed to do it, is user chotda. This is a very good way of changing the whole aspect of a bookshelf with a little bit of creativity. I guess you’ll have to pay more attention to the book’s cover from now on if you want to reproduce that effect and have your own rainbow bookshelf.

Private cloud looks like a giant rocking chair, or to be more exact like a rocking bed. Private cloud is not a normal bed, is something that wants to revolutionize every bedroom. The bed requires a little more space than a “normal” bed but I’m pretty sure that this bed can offer new experiences to any couple. The bed will sway when someone will touch it, but therefore this section bed has also provided two back plates, that can maintain the a certain angle of tilt, like in the last picture.

The Equation Bookshelf is designed by Marcos Breder and is a simple idea of to divide things in priority order. As you can see the design is quite unique, stylish and original. You can put together the books that you need immediately or more important between (parentheses) or maybe a photo, or something important for you to be the focal point of this bookselhf. Set others between [square brackets] and {braces}. – Via – Designspotter

At a first glance you might be asking yourself “What is this ?“, because the Feel Seating System designed by Animi Causa has a really cool and unusual shape. The shape is inspired by a molecular structure, the basic form for all objects is the universe. It is made of 120 sofa balls covered with elastic fabric. If you are a playful person you can use it in many creative ways, because the structure of the feel allows to create multiple forms. – Via – Designboom
