In Darmstadt, Germany, The Alice-Hospital vom Roten Kreuz has commissioned Angela Fritsch Architekten to build a pavilion in the park in front of their main building, and the final result is a really creative design. The pavilion was constructed using a conventional system of prefabricated containers. In order to integrate it into the park, the surface finish of the facade is committed to adhering sheeting system patented by Hannes Freising from architectural facade firm Huellwerk. This ZGG pavilion (Zentrum Ganzheitlicher Gesundheit) was to consist of a cheap container box with a wallpaper made out of sheet metal. This golden cover has ornamental leaves cut out of it, making it a shiny and decorative structure in the hospital’s park. – Via

Sometimes I have to be honest that is quite hard to find interesting content for this niche on a daily basis, and sometimes I want to post all kind of stuff that I find on the internet, but finally I control myself. Today I’ve found this extremely simple, but creative idea, and although is not related to interior design, furniture or architecture is something that I feel you’ll like. The Wire Button is a thin and tiny product that can help you fix the wire in a button as if you do up your buttons. It looks cool, interesting and is you are listening music while you’re outside it can be useful. Found on Broadhong Design.

Yesterday was 1 April ( April Fools’ Day ), and this door chain concept designed by Artemy Lebedev fell into the category of a good joke. I don’t like the April Fools’ Day, but this door chair is really funny, and appropriate for a day like this. The only problem with something like this might be …if you have a visitor you might have a dialog like this : “I’ll be right there, hold on!“, after 2 minutes … “Just one more minute, I’ve almost got it!“, because the chain is long enough to reach the far end of the maze. – Via – Tranism

Designed by Francesco Innocenti and realized by Zerogloss, Laica is a creative storage design for books and magazines, entirely produced in composite material and refinished in six colours. The Laica is finished in a glossy lacquer or soft-touch effect, and is an entirely hand made production. This bookshelf is a good solution for someone who doesn’t have to many books.

I’m pretty sure that if you are for some time on Freshome you saw a lot of interesting designs, but what I’ve found today is a pure proof that our imagination doesn’t have limits. Rodolfo Rocchetti from Tappezzeria Rocchetti is a master upholsterer from Rome, and he made some really creative pieces of furniture, check the pictures below. Now to have something like this in your home you might choose a very wild theme for your home, because these designs can easily make people say “OMG !“.And for the animal lovers out there these are all made from faux fur. – Via – Desiretoinspire
