The Stink table is designed by Dylan Gold for Link Studios and it is a brilliant conversation piece for those guests that appreciate contrast in modern design. Now I know that a lot of people would say, but is a cracked table, I can’t use it. That’s right that stuff will fall through the cracks if you are not careful, and you should buy it only if you want a piece of modern design that looks good, but it isn’t really functional. According to the designer, Dylan Gold, the table is very heavy, made of solid mdf layers coated in automotive lacquer and clear coat. Finally to solve the cracked part the designer suggests that you can also fit it with a piece of glass on top. - Via

The Retro contemporary coffee table by Calligaris is both stylish and practical having a central open compartment under the top and two side drawers that open by a rotating pivot pin. The Calligaris retro table features a wenge finish that will easily match any home decor. The clean lines and smooth elegant curves make this a collection of pure design classics. This is Italian furniture design at its most architectural. New ideas in materials, techniques and shape combine to make a clarity and purity of form that is fresh and truly modern. The Gemelli Coffee Table is a really expensive coffee table ( $3059.95 ), but I’ve decided to post this product because the idea is quite interesting. The Gemelli Coffee Table is designed stylishly combining the concept of two tables in one. The table is made of glass and steel, a combination which provides the living room an elegant look. The two tops look one when closed and are adhered with UV glue; and can swivel apart making some extra space for more people. This coffee table is availble at Jensen-Lewis.

I know that the winter is almost over, and the fireplaces are not used so more anymore but this Coffee Table with a built-in eco-friendly fireplace is a piece of furniture that is perfect for a contemporary interior. The GF-160 fire coffee table model, is made of natural veneer wenge and covered with the polyurethane varnish for increased durability, making it resistant to water, alcohol and high temperatures. The table comes inclusive of a lighter with extended tip and decorative stones. This table is a mobile fire solution without any installation or a chimney, which can be set in any desired space, even in the middle of a living room. The lighting of Planika Fire is extremely easy and safe as it uses FANOLA fuel which is not accompanied by fumes or smell. Only water vapour and CO2 are emitted - in proportions similar to those contained in the air exhaled by humans. - Via - Bornrich
