Studio Laurens van Wieringen created this beautiful landscape carpet. The Carpet is constructed from many little ‘foam-bars’ in different colours and heights. Together these ‘foam-bars’ show an image of a landscape in color and a relief in height. The final result look very interesting, and I’m sure that walking on such a carpet would be a very pleasant experience. – Via – BoingBoing

Woody Wood by Yvette Laduk (YL design) is a round carpet with a print of cross-section of a tree. The Laduk-rug is made of strong material, used in the contract market and is made to last. The rug’s border is cut, burned and sprayed – making this a long-lasting natural beauty. I love this design because is unique and very original compared with a lot of rugs that I see everyday. This rug is available from here for €195. – Via – ApartmentTherapy

Grand Grand Splatch Rug is an interesting idea for a rug. This rug was designed with the idea to imitate an indoor pool with a concrete edge and a large splash effect but the only maintenance it requires is a good vacuuming every so often. If you want to make it look more real you can add a few yellow rubber ducks, thtat will seem to float on this rug. The vailability or pricing for this rug are not known yet, but you can contact the people from MAAD, and who knows maybe they will be able to help you. -Via – Ohgizmo!

This Jigsaw Carpet reminds me about the Puzzle Floor something that I’ve presented some time ago. But let’s come back to this carpet. I think this is a bright idea, because you have total control over your carpet, you define the pattern, shape and size of this carpet, and you can have a new model everytime you want one just arrange the pieces in any way you like. You have 10 pieces to have fun with …and you can get one for $77 from here. Via – Sparkbugg
