The String Chair

This string chair invites a second look, a wish to try it out and perhaps even a love-hate reaction. The chair boasts strong clean lines – literally – for the seating area and backrest are series of taut strings. The two groups of strings neatly interlock at the junction of the seating area and the backrest much like the warp and weft of looms. The design certainly begs the question – cushion or no?

Magnetique Shelf

Magnetique Shelf is designed by Nils Holger Moormann and is a shelf consisting of sheet steel and boxes made of FU(birch plywood). The sheet steel can be mounted onto the wall in a horizontal or vertical way. The backside of the boxes consists of a special, extra strong foil magnet which sticks to the wall attachment in any way you like. Depending on number, size and arrangement of the boxes, there is a new shelf everytime you change it. Magnetique is any cupboard you want it to be. – Via – Swissmiss

Drawer for the Wall

Drawer for the wall is a simple but ingenious design by Patrick Frey and Markus Boge. A L-shaped steel plate serves as the top of the drawer and the mounting surface while the birch plywood drawer hangs from the steel plate on two inner grooves. The idea is very good for small places, and it looks awesome, and quite different compared with other pieces of furniture. – Via – Apartment Therapy
