For some time I wanted to ask this question to my readers, but until now I’ve always hesitated, so in the image bellow you can see the question I want to ask you. So take a few seconds to think what do you think that our website lacks and leave a comment bellow or on our Facebook Page. I’m curios how many people from our 20.000+ daily RSS readers want to answer this question and help me make Freshome.com a better place for you all.

Starting from today I’ve decided to create a Facebook Page for Freshome, because I think that a Facebook Page is better than a Facebook Group, and people can interact better on a Facebook Page. So check it out! Become a fan! Tell your friends about it ! Leave a comment …everything is appreciated. Here is the link. - P.S – If you are a Twitter fan you can also follow us on Twitter at this link.

To be honest I think that this might be one of the most beautiful and also the most expensive billiard table ever created. The black walnut billiard table was commissioned for Queen Victoria’s Jubileee Exhibition in Manchester in 1887 and created by Orne & Sons Ltd. The cushion friezes are decorated with ribbons of quotations from Shakespeare, Tennyson, Scott and Byron embellished with over fifty species of wild flowers and native British birds. Beneath the friezes are two long and six short panels depicting numerous countries. Between the panels and above each leg are carved portraits including William of Normandy, Henry I, Henry II, Henry III, Edward I, Edward II, Edward II, Edward IV, Elizabeth of York, James I and Charles I.

The matching cupboard is shaped like a door carved with seven panels. The upper four coats of arms show Victoria during the most important stages in her reign. The central horizontal section features Victoria and Albert beside Windsor Castle and the lower section depicts the royal residences of Holyrood and Caernavon. The second section slides open to expose a game with stars and colored counters, which can be rotated to form a scoreboard. This beautiful piece of “furniture” is available at Harrods for £1 million.

Inspiration can come from anywhere, for example this piece of furniture was inspired by some deep sea creatures that catch their food with lights on their heads. The Light Up would be a real eye catcher in a lounge or a waiting room, but also the living room would benefit from this special object. From my perspective the chair looks quite wired, and very hard to move from place to place, but a great place to read a book in the middle of the night. For more information’s about this piece of furniture you can check this website.

Tired of the classical bookcases and need a more different approach for storing your favorite magazines? We would like to present two unusual shelving systems, both of them with a minimalist design and the possibility of being placed almost anywhere in your apartment. The designs come from Comp.a.r, a young and dynamic company from Italy. First off, we have the “Cactus” item, a “bookcase in white or black mat lacquered MDF with 10 shelves and a chromed base”. Its shape is very original and it can be used in your living room as well as in an office, a library or a conference room.

“One” is the name of the second shelving set. It is made from the same materials as the “Cactus” bookcase, the only difference is the design and the fact that is only has seven shelves. With a very interesting look, you could even think about purchasing more than one item and placing them in line in your living room. It is advisable that the wall behind it should be a colored one. Sometimes simple is better and we hope we managed to prove that with these two designs.
