Breaking away from traditional faucet designs Kohler’s Karbon is a new design which essentially “articulates from a compact pole-looking thing into a long arm that reaches right where you need it.” The new faucet design from Kohler, is just like a smart robotic arm that can move the faucet to any place you wish to fill the liquid from. The angular, linear aspect of the Karbon is sure to be as appreciated for its futuristic good looks as for its fantastic functionality. Clever engineering means that the faucet can hold any pose. It’s great for filling large pots, pulling down into the sink to prepare food, and tucking away out of the way when it’s not in use. What’s more, it’s designed to be used hands-free. With a modern, textured user-friendly surface, this faucet is finished in gleaming polished chrome. Kohler tells us Karbon’s list price is “$925 and up,” and it should be available by June or July. – Via – Bornrich

This awesome futuristic kitchen concept design was designed by Sebastien Poupeau. At a first glance this kitchen might look like an Apple product, clean design, sleek lines, and of course eye catching, but this beautiful design is a futuristic kitchen that offers “a food cutting area, a digital screen enabling the cooker to pilot the equipment, listen to music or access to the web to find recipes for instance — this ‘multi-screen’ is extended by a dining surface.” On both sides stand two units; one with induction hobs and an oven for cooking, preparing; the other with a sink and its drying rack fitted into and a dishwasher with two separated racks. The project also envelops an upper level for the hood and a heating area. A light made of optical fibre under the surface holds the glasses over the guests. – Via – Hometone

Whirlpool has presented its futuristic version of a “green” kitchen. It seems that more and more people and companies become aware about the green movement and start using green home appliances to save on energy and water. This kitchen concept is designed to redistribute 60% of the water and heat generated from the various kitchen appliances to fuel other appliances or functions. For example this concept is supposed to use the heat from the refrigerator’s compressor to provide hot water. The green kitchen would help users to reduce at least 24% of the total energy bill by reducing energy use and recycling water and energy needs. To bad we can’t seemore details from the pictures. – Via – Yahoo News & Pocket-Lint

This beautiful and smart kitchen design is made by Fevzi Karaman a designer from Turkey, Ankara who made the kitchen cupboard “silverline” which won a prize at a contest student. The colors of the kitchen pechues with a green apple that gives a sacred Deco touches to the kitchen. The modular furniture is very advanced with a work plan to be drawn into a table. This kitchen design is very clever, and when is not used as a kitchen it can be a sleek piece of furniture. I hope that one day I’ll see this kitchen design in practice.
