Meltdown Chair PP Tube #1 was designed by Tom Price and was available for an auction for Phillips de Pury & Company. The unusual chair was meant to be given away for a sum of £4,000-6,000 maximum, but someone offered £8,750. The Meltdown design was created using polypropylene tubes, after they were heated and pressed; the signature of the designer was the added. We don’t know anything of the chair’s ergonomics, but we are guessing it is simply a collector’s item, so this aspect is not all that important. The Kruze Chair is a nicely-crafted piece of furniture that was designed by industrial designer David Fox, who collaborated with Boss Design. The Kruze Chair is available as a chair with four legs or with a recycled aluminium 4-star base. It is also available as a four legged bar stool which can be specified with or without a back. Its wooden curves are constructed out of walnut and the black upholstery nestled inside includes high-quality stitching. So if you want a chair that is comfortable, and also looks good by itself then this should be your choice.

A year ago we presented here on Freshome a similar project with what you are going to see today. That post was called “Furniture Made with a Single Stroke” and it was designed by Aykut Erol. Today here is a similar idea, but that I think it looks much better. Designed by a designer from Tokyo, Yuppie Hippie - ” Single Line Furniture” is a a concept deign for a single line furniture used as an architecture station. For now this is just a concept, but I’m pretty sure that this concept would look preety good in reality.
